The Ottawa West Ball Hockey League is proud to be a co-ed league and encourages girls of all ages to join the sport of ball hockey. Many opportunities exist for girls to excel at the sport, such as Provincial and National tournaments, at all ages of play.
Since its inception, OWBHL has been proud to have girls playing in all of its divisions, including the Learn to Play program. OWBHL also features several female coaches, referees, and league organizers. We hope to see those numbers grow in the coming seasons!
This season, the OWBHL will continue to offer an All Girls Division. Please see our Age Groups for the age breakdown.
Teams will participate in up to ten games/sessions. Games/sessions occur once per week. Games are typically played on Sunday mornings but could also be played on Fridays evenings and Saturdays morning depending on slab availabilities .
*Special if any girls are signed up in the Open/Co-ed spring regular season you are welcome to participate in the girls program for FREE, but you must fill in two forms (one per division) to ensure you player is placed on teams at both divisions.
Bring your friends, neighbours, and sisters to play together – you’ll have a blast!
