Girls Division

The Ottawa West Ball Hockey League is proud to be a co-ed league and encourages girls of all ages to join the sport of ball hockey.  Many opportunities exist for girls to excel at the sport, such as Provincial and National tournaments, at all ages of play.

Since its inception, OWBHL has been proud to have girls playing in all of its divisions, including the Learn to Play program.  OWBHL also features several female coaches, referees and league organizers.  We hope to see those numbers grow in the coming seasons!

In 2019, the OWBHL will continue to pilot a 4-on-4 all Girls Division.  The Division is intended to have two age groups: minor (2007-2009) and major (2004-2006).  Games will be played, once per week, on Sundays at the Belltown Dome.  Girls Division fees will be waived for players registered in the OWBHL Co-ed Division as well (the Co-ed Division registration fee would apply).

Bring your friends, neighbors, and sisters to play together – you’ll have a blast!

Older than 17?

You can play ball hockey too!  The Ottawa Carleton Ball Hockey Association has a thriving Women’s Division.  We encourage you to join and grow the game at all ages!
